Club noche issue 2
Detective Creed Rivers, newly integrated into the police force despite his criminal past under mob boss Frank, is tasked by the police chief and Officer Vargas with a covert mission: eliminate Joker, leader of Club Noche, in revenge for the murder of Officer Ramirez. Creed's partner Aline Fonseca has vouched for him, and the chief leverages her reputation to ensure compliance. Creed extracts the truth from JP, Joker's betrayed right-hand man, learning details about Club Noche's layout and security. Meanwhile, at the club, Slik confronts his older brother Joker about the killing of the corrupt cop—a violation of their long-standing truce with law enforcement. Though tensions simmer, Joker insists everything is under control. That night, a famous but disgraced MMA fighter faces Slik in the ring, and after roughing up one of the club's workers, Kaleen, the fighter triggers something dark in Slik. The fight turns brutal: Slik employs devastating kicks and brutal submissions, tearing the fighter's knee and dragging his broken body behind the curtain. Creed, having infiltrated the club to scout for his hit, witnesses Slik's savage violence and realizes the true danger: not just Joker, but the monster within his brother.

Panel 1:A dimly lit bar interior at evening. Aline Fonseca and Creed Rivers sit side by side at the wooden bar counter, amber cocktails in front of them. A few other patrons sit scattered at tables in the background. The bartender is wiping a glass behind the counter. Soft golden lighting from wall sconces and the backlit liquor bottles casts warm shadows across their faces.
Narrator:“A case closed. A detective proven.”
Panel 2:Close-up of Aline's face as she turns toward Creed, a slight smirk playing at the corner of her mouth. Her eyes are sharp and knowing. The bar's amber light reflects off her face.
“Aline Fonseca: I knew you'd make a great detective, Creed.”
Panel 3:Creed's face in profile, listening. His jaw is set, his expression neutral but attentive. The bar's glow catches the edge of his features.
“Creed Rivers: Heh, So you’re not regretting convincing the chief to give me a badge?”
Panel 4:Aline leans slightly closer, her voice dropping. She gestures subtly with her cocktail glass. Behind them, the bar continues its quiet evening rhythm.
“Aline Fonseca: Don’t give me all the credit. Your military experience was also a deciding factor. But hey this recent case was a great start to prove you belong.”
Panel 5:Creed turns his head to face Aline directly. His expression is hard, almost dismissive. He takes a slow sip of his drink.
“Creed Rivers: I'll never be one of them. You know that. And I don't care what they think.”
Panel 6:Aline's smirk deepens. She leans back slightly, her eyes locked on Creed's with a mixture of amusement and steel. The bar's light catches the edge of her glass.
“Aline Fonseca: Right. But you care what I think. And I stuck my neck out for you—so at least pretend to play along.”
Narrator:“The debt between them, unspoken but clear.”
PAGE 2
Panel 1:Creed meets Aline's eyes. A long beat passes between them. He gives a slow, deliberate nod. The bar's amber light softens the moment.
“Creed Rivers: Thank you. You didn't owe me anything.”
Panel 2:Aline shrugs, a gesture of casual certainty. She lifts her cocktail glass.
“Aline Fonseca: Someone has to look out for you.”
Panel 3:Creed's phone screen illuminates his face in the dim bar. His expression shifts—the moment of connection broken. A text message glows on the screen: 'I need to see you. Now.' signed by the Chief.
Narrator:“The call comes, as it always does.”
Panel 4:Creed pulls the phone away from his face, his jaw tightening. He lets out a short, bitter scoff. Aline watches him from the side.
“Creed Rivers: I'm off duty.”
Panel 5:Aline leans in close, her voice low and measured. She speaks with the authority of someone who understands the machinery of power.
“Aline Fonseca: Doing a favor for the chief is the fastest way to quiet doubts. Not just about you—about my judgment too.”
Panel 6:Creed stares at his drink for a moment, then nods slowly. He raises a hand to signal the bartender. His expression is resigned but compliant.
“Creed Rivers: Keep my tab open. In case Aline wants another. Aline Fonseca: Oh, I'll definitely take another.”

Panel 1:A red GTO muscle car roars through the empty streets of the city at night, neon signs and streetlights streaking past in the windows. The car's engine is loud, aggressive, cutting through the silence.
Narrator:“The city at night belongs to men like Creed.”
Panel 2:The GTO pulls into the police precinct parking lot. The car's headlights sweep across the building's facade. The precinct is a concrete structure with barred windows and a single entrance marked by a blue light.
Panel 3:Creed walks through the precinct's interior hallway. Conversations drop to whispers as he passes. Officer Matt Steel steps directly into his path, blocking his way forward. Steel is broad-shouldered and aggressive, his uniform crisp but his posture confrontational. Officers at desks behind them stop what they're doing, watching.
“Officer Matt Steel: You don't fool me, Creed. Not for a second. One day you're gonna slip—and when you do, I'll put you away.”
Narrator:“Officer Steel: the precincts “enforcer” sees Creed passing by.”
Panel 4:Steel's face is close, his eyes narrowed with contempt. His jaw is clenched. Behind him, the hallway stretches back into the precinct.
“Officer Matt Steel: Four years in the military doesn't erase who you were. What happens when it's us versus Frank? Who do you choose?”
Panel 5:Creed's face is calm, unmoved by the threat. His eyes are cold and direct. He speaks in a low, measured voice that doesn't waver.
“Creed Rivers: I'm a detective. I don't work for Frank. I don’t work for you. I work for the city and the cases I'm assigned. That's it.”
Panel 6:Creed steps past Steel, his shoulder brushing against the officer's chest. Steel's face twists with anger and amusement. Behind them, the hallway continues toward the chief's office.
“Officer Matt Steel: Talk is cheap. Creed Rivers: Yeah, you'd know, Matty.”

Panel 1:The chief's office. A sparse, authoritative space with a large wooden desk, filing cabinets, and a single window showing the city at night. The Chief sits behind the desk, his face shadowed. Officer Vargas stands nearby with his arms crossed, his black-and-blue uniform crisp and intimidating. Creed enters and Vargas gestures to a chair.
“Officer Vargas: Sit down, detective.”
Narrator:“Creed enters the chiefs office. The chiefs right hand man Officer Vargas “greets” him. ”
Panel 2:Creed sits in the chair. A manila folder slides across the desk toward him. His eyes follow it, then look up at the Chief. The Chief's face is stern, his hands folded on the desk.
“Chief: One of ours is dead. Officer Ramirez. Killed at Club Noche. Officially? This never happened.”
Narrator:“The setup. The trap.”
Panel 3:Creed opens the folder. A photograph of Joker(who resembles our saved character “joker”). Creed's eyes register the image, then he looks up at the Chief and Vargas, waiting.
“Officer Vargas: Unofficially? We know who did it.”
Panel 4:Creed closes the folder slightly, his expression unreadable. He leans back in the chair, his posture still tense despite the casual movement.
“Creed Rivers: And you want me to... what?”
Panel 5:Vargas steps forward slightly, his arms still crossed. His face is impassive, professional. The Chief watches from behind the desk.
“Officer Vargas: We want you to prove you belong. Chief: There's a long-standing truce between us and Noche. We can't ignore a dead cop. But we need it quiet.”
Panel 6:The Chief leans forward, his hands still folded. His eyes are hard and direct. Creed watches him intently.
“Chief: You'll have full autonomy. Take Joker out quietly. This department won't forget it.”
PAGE 5
Panel 1:Creed's face shows a dry, bitter smile. It's a smile without humor—a recognition of the game being played. His eyes remain cold.
“Creed Rivers: So what do you call this? Justice?”
Panel 2:The Chief doesn't flinch. He speaks with brutal honesty, his voice low and measured. Vargas remains standing, arms crossed.
“Chief: It's revenge. And control. But there's still justice in it. According to our informant, Ramirez uncovered underage prostitution at Noche. He was killed to keep that secret buried.”
Panel 3:Creed's expression hardens. He doesn't look convinced. His fingers drum once on the folder—a tell of his skepticism.
“Creed Rivers: Ramirez wasn't a good man. He wouldn't suddenly care about girls.”
Narrator:“The lie sits between them, unspoken but heavy.”
Panel 4:The Chief shifts slightly, acknowledging the challenge. Vargas's jaw tightens. The tension in the room increases.
“Chief: Look son. Due to your history working for Frank, people have been questioning Aline's decision to vouch for you.”
Panel 5:Creed's head lifts slightly at the mention of Aline. His expression remains neutral, but something shifts in his eyes—a recognition of the leverage being used.
“Chief: Proving yourself would make things easier, not just for you, but for her too.”
Panel 6:Vargas leans in slightly, his voice cutting and direct. His face is close to Creed's, his tone brooking no further argument.
“Officer Vargas: So are you in or not?”
Narrator:“The moment. The choice.”
PAGE 6
Panel 1:A long beat. Creed's jaw tightens. He stares at the folder in his hands, his internal conflict visible in the set of his shoulders. The office is silent except for the hum of the building's lights.
Narrator:“The price of belonging. The cost of debt.”
Panel 2:Creed nods slowly. A single, deliberate gesture. His face remains hard and closed.
“Creed Rivers: I'm in.”
Panel 3:Creed stands and walks toward the door. The Chief and Vargas watch him leave. As he reaches the doorway, his mind is already working—calculating, planning.
Narrator:“But Creed doesn't like loose stories. He needs the truth.”
Panel 4:Creed walks through the precinct hallway. Officers watch him pass. His face is focused, his mind already working through the details. Steel watches from his desk, a sneer on his face.
Narrator:“The informant. JPinga. That's where the real story starts.”
PAGE 7
Panel 1:A modest apartment building at night. The exterior is weathered, with a fire escape visible. Creed's red GTO is parked across the street, its engine off. The windows of the building are dark except for one—JP's apartment, where a faint light glows.
Narrator:“That night. JP's apartment.”
Panel 2:Inside JP's apartment. The space is small, cramped, with cheap furniture and bare walls. JP enters through the door and stops dead. Creed is already inside, sitting in a chair in the shadows. A large-caliber pistol—a Magnum—rests casually in Creed's hand, the barrel pointed downward but unmistakably present. JP's face goes pale. His hands tremble.
Narrator:“Creed doesn't wait for invitations.”
Panel 3:Close-up of JP's face. His eyes are wide with terror, his mouth slightly open. Sweat beads on his forehead. His hands are visibly shaking at his sides.
“JP: Please... don't...”
Panel 4:Creed stands from the chair, the Magnum held at his side. His face is cold and methodical. He moves toward JP with the casual confidence of a predator.
“Creed Rivers: Tell me about Officer Ramirez. The night he died.”
Panel 5:JP backs up, his body pressed against the wall. Creed stands in front of him, the gun still at his side but its presence unmistakable. JP's voice shakes as he speaks.
“Creed Rivers: Ramirez wasn't a good man. He wouldn't care about underage girls. So what really happened?”
Panel 6:JP's face crumples. His hands come up in a gesture of surrender. Tears form in his eyes. His voice is barely a whisper.
“JP: Joker was running underage girls….Ramirez bought one…but he killed her! Joker paid him back for that”
Narrator:“A lie wrapped around a truth. JP doesn't mention his own role.”
PAGE 8
Panel 1:Creed lowers the gun slightly, his expression unreadable. JP watches him, trembling. The apartment is silent except for JP's ragged breathing.
“Creed Rivers: Club Noche's layout. Security. Joker's movements. I need everything.”
Panel 2:JP shakes his head, his voice desperate. Creed raises the gun slightly—not pointing it directly, but making the threat clear.
“JP: I can't. I can't do this. Creed Rivers: You'll tell me. Or I tell Joker who sold him out.”
Panel 3:JP's face goes white. His body language shifts from resistance to panic. Creed watches him with cold calculation.
“JP: I had a deal with the cops! They promised—”
Panel 4:Creed raises the Magnum slightly. His voice is quiet, almost conversational, which makes it more terrifying. The gun's barrel catches the dim light.
“Creed Rivers: I'm not a cop. Not tonight.”
Narrator:“The line between law and lawlessness. Creed walks it easily.”
Panel 5:JP crumbles. He slides down the wall into a sitting position, his hands covering his face. His shoulders shake. Creed watches, waiting for the information to come.
“JP: The club opens at nine. Joker's in his office upstairs until the fights start.”
PAGE 9
Panel 1:Club Noche's interior. A dark, atmospheric space lit by red and amber neon. The main room features a raised boxing ring with ropes, surrounded by a crowd of spectators. The walls are lined with booths and tables. A bar runs along one side. Joker stands in the shadows near the bar, watching the crowd. Slik approaches him, his expression serious and tense. The crowd murmurs in the background.
Narrator:“Meanwhile, at Club Noche.”
Panel 2:Close-up of Slik's face. His jaw is tight, his eyes intense. He speaks in a low voice that only Joker can hear.
“Slik: We can't kill cops anymore, Joker. Not these days.”
Panel 3:Joker's face is hard, unapologetic. His eyes flash with anger. He speaks with the authority of the older brother.
“Joker: You would've done the same. We both know it. Quit worrying about me, I’m suppose to be the older brother.”
Panel 4:Slik's expression remains tense but he nods slightly, accepting the assertion. Behind them, the club continues its evening preparations. Joker's hand rests on Slik's shoulder.
“Joker: Besides, everything is under control. The body's gone. The only witnesses are our men. Men who are loyal to us, and our money. Now get focused, you got a big fight tonight against that has been.”
Panel 5:Slik walks away from Joker toward the back section of the club where the women who work there are stationed. He moves through the crowd with purpose. The neon light casts long shadows.
Narrator:“But tension doesn't fade. It simmers.”
