CLUB NOCHE

Issue 4: part 2

In the aftermath of Joker's assassination, Momma Noche takes command of the Noche gang and demands vengeance. She addresses her crew inside Club Noche, vowing that the police will bleed until they surrender the names of everyone responsible for her son's death. Meanwhile, Slik executes JP in his apartment, silencing the informant who betrayed Joker. Later, Slik retreats to a private room with Kaleen at Club Noche, where he begins to unravel under the weight of his mother's presence and his own violent past. Through fragmented flashbacks, he reveals the trauma of his first kill as a young man—a desperate act to protect his mother—and how she weaponized his rage, turning him into her personal enforcer and murderer. The most devastating memory surfaces: a mission to assassinate a rival mob boss that ended with Slik killing an entire family, a massacre he has never recovered from. Kaleen, sensing his breakdown, offers him silent comfort and an embrace, allowing him to feel the full weight of his guilt without judgment. The issue closes on the image of Slik held by Kaleen, a predator finally confronting the human cost of his violence.

PAGE 1

Panel 1:The interior of Club Noche's main floor is packed with gang members and associates. Momma Noche stands at the center, elevated slightly above the crowd, her posture commanding and upright. Her face is set with cold authority. She faces her assembled crew directly. The lighting is harsh and overhead, casting sharp shadows. The atmosphere is tense and expectant.

Narrator:Momma Noche’s presence alone freezes the room, and all the men in it.

Panel 2:Momma Noche's face fills the frame, her expression cold and absolute. Her voice carries across the room. Her lips are parted as she speaks, her dark eyes fixed ahead with unwavering intensity.

Momma Noche: We will not let the murder of my son go unpunished.

Panel 3:A wider view of the crowd's reaction. Gang members stand rigid, their faces taut with anticipation. Some lean forward slightly. Momma Noche remains the focal point, her silhouette commanding the space.

Momma Noche: They will feel this.

Panel 4:A close view of Momma Noche's face as she continues. Her jaw is set. Her eyes are laser-focused. The camera captures the predatory calm in her expression—the look of someone who has decided on blood.

Momma Noche: They will bleed until they give us every name of every man who walked away from Jokers death.

Panel 5:Momma Noche's silhouette stands against the crowd. Her arms are at her sides, but her posture radiates absolute authority. Behind her, the gang members watch in silence, their faces grim.

Momma Noche: Vena PD will regret this.

Panel 6:Momma Noche's face fills the frame again. Her lips curve into something that is not quite a smile—a predator's expression. Her eyes are empty of mercy.

Momma Noche: And they will beg me for peace. But this time, I decide the terms.

PAGE 2

Panel 1:A dingy apartment interior. The room is dim and cluttered—clothes on the floor, empty bottles on a side table, stained fabric on worn furniture. JP sits on a couch with Ann. Ann is lean-framed, androgynous, flat-chested, shirtless. The camera captures them both in a moment of false peace.

Narrator:JPs apartment: JP is having relations with a fairy boy he hired from the street.

Panel 2:A close-up of the back of JP's neck and shoulders as he lies on the couch. Ann is bent over him, moving slightly. Suddenly, cold steel materializes against JP's skin—the blade of a Samurai blade, its edge pressing against his neck with lethal precision. The blade is held by an off-panel hand.

Panel 3:JP's face jerks upward in shock, eyes wide and bloodshot. Ann's body is frozen mid-motion, her face turning in confusion. Behind them, Slik stands with the Samurai blade held horizontally at JP's throat level, his face a mask of cold purpose. His arm is extended, the blade steady.

Ann: Ahhhhh!

Panel 4:Slik's face is impassive, his voice level and controlled. He does not raise it. Behind him, Ann scrambles off the couch, her body moving in panic toward the bedroom.

Slik: Leave.

Narrator:One word. A command.

Panel 5:A wide shot of the apartment as Ann bolts from the couch and runs toward the hallway, her body in full flight, her face twisted in fear. JP remains on the couch, shaking visibly. Slik stands behind him, the Samurai blade still held at throat level.

Panel 6:A close-up of JP's face as he turns to look at Slik. His entire body is trembling. Sweat beads on his pale forehead. His eyes are wide with terror and confusion. His mouth opens as he tries to form words.

JP: Slik...what the hell is going on?

PAGE 3

Panel 1:Slik stands over JP, who remains on the couch. Slik's face is composed, his voice quiet and measured. The Samurai blade is held loosely at his side now, but the threat is absolute. JP's body is rigid with fear.

Slik: I know you ratted out Joker. You’re the only one with the knowledge and motivation to do so.

Panel 2:Slik steps closer to JP. His voice remains level and controlled, but each word lands like a hammer blow. JP's hands grip the couch fabric, knuckles white.

Slik: You were always their little snitch. Doing favors for the cops.

Panel 3:Slik's face is inches from JP's now. His dark eyes are empty of emotion. The Samurai blade is held at his side, but the implied threat fills the frame.

Slik: I let it slide because you never involved us. But this time you crossed the line.

Panel 4:Slik leans in further. His voice is quiet, almost conversational, which makes it more terrible. JP's face is streaked with sweat and tears.

Slik: Joker's dead. Your best friend. My brother.

Panel 5:JP's entire body convulses with sobs. His words come out broken and desperate. His hands cover his face partially, his voice cracking under the weight of his terror and despair.

JP: I didn't think they'd actually touch him! I thought he could handle it!

Panel 6:JP's voice cracks further, desperation pouring out. His hands grip the couch, his entire frame shaking with the weight of his confession.

JP: I didn't have a choice. They said they'd kill me if I stopped being useful.

PAGE 4

Panel 1:Slik's face is calm and impassive as he speaks. His voice carries no anger, only cold certainty. Behind him, JP sits rigid on the couch.

Slik: Well... I guess death was coming for you either way.

Panel 2:Slik moves forward step by step, his body closing the distance between himself and JP. The Samurai blade is raised, its tip pointing directly at JP's throat. JP's body presses backward against the couch, trying to create distance that no longer exists.

Panel 3:A close-up of the Samurai blade's tip as it touches JP's throat. His skin indents slightly under the pressure. A thin line of blood begins to form at the contact point. JP's eyes are squeezed shut.

Narrator:Slik slowly pushes his blade into Jp’s throat

Panel 4:A wide shot of JP's body as the blade punctures his neck. Blood begins to pour from the wound, dark and viscous, soaking into his shirt collar. His body convulses once, then stills. His hands grasp at the couch fabric, then fall limp. Slik stands motionless, watching.

Narrator:….Until it can’t pushed anymore

Panel 5:A close-up of JP's face as the life drains from his eyes. His mouth is open slightly. His skin is pale and drained of color. His pupils dilate then become fixed and empty. Behind him, Slik's expression does not change—he simply watches.

Panel 6:Slik stands over JP's corpse, the Samurai blade hanging at his side. Blood drips from its tip onto the floor. Slik's face remains composed, but his eyes are distant and hollow. The apartment around him is silent and still. A pool of blood spreads beneath JP's body.

Narrator:The first domino falls.

PAGE 5

Panel 1:The interior of a private room at Club Noche. Dim lighting, plush seating, intimate and isolated from the main floor. Slik sits on a chair, his posture rigid and tense. Kaleen stands before him, her face showing concern. The atmosphere is heavy with unspoken weight.

Kaleen: Slik... you've been off since your mother arrived.

Narrator:Later that night: Slik takes a private room with Kaleen, one of the working girls at the club

Panel 2:Slik's face is drawn, his eyes distant. He sits motionless, his jaw clenched. Behind him, Kaleen's silhouette is slightly out of focus, waiting.

Slik: She's my mother. But she can be difficult to be around.

Panel 3:A flashback image: Slik as a young man, his fists covered in blood, standing over a body on the ground. The body is motionless. His face is twisted in shock and horror. The background is dark and indistinct.

Narrator:Slik explains his past: His first kill. A man who wanted to take control of the Noche gang after his father died. “I was protecting my mother from him”

Panel 4:Another flashback: Young Slik stands before his mother, Momma Noche. She is cold and composed, her hand reaching out to touch his blood-stained face. Her expression is not comforting—it is calculating and predatory. Around them, faceless gang members stand in shadow.

Narrator:She never comforted him. Instead, she weaponized his rage, turned him into her enforcer, her murderer.

Panel 5:A flashback sequence: Slik, older now but still young, sits in the passenger seat of a car. Through the windshield, another vehicle is visible ahead. His hand grips something at his side—implied violence waiting. His face is set with grim determination, but his eyes betray the weight of what he is about to do.

Narrator:Years later, he was sent to eliminate a rival mob boss. A simple contract. A clean job.

Panel 6:A flashback of Slik firing a weapon from the car window. The target vehicle ahead erupts in gunfire. Glass shatters. Metal tears. Smoke billows from the impact. The violence is sudden and absolute.

Narrator:But the man wasn't alone.

PAGE 6

Panel 1:A flashback: Slik opens the back door of the target vehicle. Inside, the bodies of a family are visible—a man, a woman, and two children, all lifeless. Their faces are peaceful in death, unmarked by the violence. Slik's hand freezes on the door handle. His face shows the moment of realization—the understanding that he has killed innocents.

Narrator:His entire family. In the back seat.

Panel 2:A return to the present: Slik sits in the private room at Club Noche, his entire body trembling. His face is streaked with sweat. His eyes are unfocused, staring at nothing. His hands grip the armrests of his chair, knuckles white. Kaleen stands motionless, watching him break.

Slik: sometimes I see their faces…all of them.

Panel 3:Kaleen's face shows no judgment, no pity—only understanding. She steps forward slowly, her movement deliberate and gentle. Her eyes are soft and present.

Panel 4:Kaleen moves to Slik and wraps her arms around him, pulling him into an embrace. Her body is close to his, offering contact and presence without words. Slik's rigid posture begins to soften. His head rests against her shoulder.

Panel 5:A close-up of Slik's face as he allows himself to be held. His eyes are closed. A single tear runs down his cheek. His jaw is still clenched, but the tension has shifted—no longer pure rage, but the raw exposure of grief and guilt. Kaleen's shoulder is visible in the frame, offering an anchor.

Narrator:She does not speak. She simply lets him feel the weight of his guilt, without judgment, without words.

Panel 6:A wide shot of the private room: Slik and Kaleen sit together, merged in shadow. Around them, the intimate space of Club Noche creates a temporary sanctuary from the violence outside. The walls are draped in rich fabric. The lighting is soft and isolated from the chaos of the main floor. They are alone in this moment—a predator and the only person who sees his humanity.

Narrator:For the first time in years, the monster allows himself to be held.
