Issue 6 part 3
Issue 19 — 'Issue 6 Part 3': The Vena City police force launches its final assault on Club Noche. Creed Rivers, Aline Fonseca, Officer Vargas, and Officer Matt Steel breach the front doors and fight through waves of Noche enforcers. Steel's gorilla-fist gauntlets and signature shotgun, Aline's explosive rounds, and Vargas's laser cannon carve a path deeper into the club. When Slik flees through a trapdoor tunnel, Creed gives chase alone into an abandoned warehouse. After a tense standoff and a brutal final fight — interrupted by Aline's arrival and Slik's complete psychological collapse under his Momma Noche hallucination — Creed shoots Slik dead. In the quiet aftermath, Creed helps Aline outside. They sit together and watch the sun rise over Vena City as Officer Vargas arrives. It is finally over.

PAGE 1
Panel 1:Wide aerial shot of Club Noche's exterior at night. The neon sign pulses red and blue. The street is nearly empty — a few distant parked cars, no pedestrians. Then: a line of police cruisers and tactical vans screams around the corner, headlights blazing, sirens cutting off as they brake hard in front of the club.
Narrator:“Outside Club Noche, late at night when the streets are nearly empty, the entire police force strikes.”
Panel 2:Ground-level shot. A black tactical battering ram swings forward and smashes the front doors of Club Noche inward with an explosion of splinters and sparks. Two police officers in riot gear surge through the breach, flashbang canisters already arcing through the air ahead of them.
Panel 3:Medium shot inside the entrance hall. Creed Rivers, Aline Fonseca, Officer Vargas, and Officer Matt Steel stride through the smoke side by side. Creed's orange cybernetic eyes are off — he scans with his natural gaze. Steel raises his signature high-tech shotgun. Vargas grips his electrified baton. Aline holds both rapid-fire pistols at her sides, ready.
“Officer Matt Steel: Concussive mode first. Non-lethal until they make it lethal.”
Panel 4:Action panel. Steel fires his shotgun in concussive mode — a wide shockwave blast that hits two Noche men center-mass and hurls them off their feet into the far wall. Their bodies crash into bottles and shelving. No blood — pure kinetic impact.
Panel 5:Close-up on a Noche enforcer's hand — he racks a pistol slide and opens fire. Behind him, three more Noche men draw weapons and begin shooting. Bullet sparks tear across the floor toward the squad.
“Officer Vargas: They're going lethal — respond in kind!”
PAGE 2
Panel 1:Action panel — Steel switches modes on his shotgun with a flick of his thumb, a small indicator light on the stock shifting from blue to red. He steps out from behind a pillar and fires. The blast tears through a Noche enforcer's chest in a spray of crimson. The man drops instantly.
Panel 2:Wide panel. A Club noche enforcer charges from a blind spot behind Steel and smashes the shotgun from his hands — the weapon clatters across the floor. Steel turns to face the man bare-handed. His jaw is set, expression cold. He slams his fists together, and thick mechanical gorilla-fist gauntlets snap out over his knuckles with a hydraulic hiss.
Narrator:“Matt Steel switches to his cybertech gorilla fist gauntlets. ”
Panel 3:Full-impact panel. Steel's gauntleted fist connects with the Club noche enforcer's jaw — the shockwave of the blow sends the man airborne, his body arcing across the room and crashing into a group of three other Noche men who were advancing. Bodies scatter like bowling pins.
Narrator:“Blowing through chunks of Noche members with each punch. ”
Panel 4:Steel calmly walks forward through the aftermath, stepping over groaning bodies, and bends to pick up his shotgun from the floor. Behind him, Aline Fonseca steps into frame with both pistols raised, firing precise controlled bursts at targets off-panel. Her stance is clean, professional.
“Officer Matt Steel: That's more like it.”
Panel 5:Medium wide. A new wave of Noche soldiers storms in from a side corridor — these men wear heavy black tactical armor, helmets, reinforced chest plates. Aline's pistol rounds spark off the armor and do nothing. The armored soldiers advance. Aline holds her ground, ejects both magazines simultaneously with a practiced double-click, and slots in two new mags — these ones have a glowing orange band around the casing.
“Aline Fonseca: Switching to explosive.”
Narrator:“Aline uses her explosive round ammunition to take out armored enemies. ”
Panel 6:Explosive action panel. Aline fires — the rounds detonate on impact against the armored soldiers, blasting them off their feet in smoking orange fireballs. Two soldiers fly backward. One crashes through a wall. Smoke and debris fill the frame. Aline stands in the foreground, pistols still raised, expression locked.
PAGE 3
Panel 1:Officer Vargas advances through the smoke, electrified baton in hand. He swings it in a horizontal arc — the crackling blue tip connects with a Noche thug's temple. The man drops instantly. Vargas doesn't break stride.
Panel 2:Vargas switches the baton to his left hand and drives the electrified tip straight into another thug's chest. The man convulses and collapses. Then from the far end of the corridor, three more heavily armored soldiers emerge. Vargas looks up at them — unfazed. He reaches up and activates the mini laser cannon mounted on his shoulder with a tap. It hums to life, its targeting reticle glowing red.
Panel 3:The shoulder cannon auto-tracks and fires — twin searing red laser beams slice through two armored soldiers with surgical precision, cutting through chest plates. Both drop. Vargas simultaneously raises his scoped assault rifle with his right hand and puts a single shot through the third soldier's visor. Clean. Efficient.
Panel 4:Wide shot. The squad — Creed, Aline, Vargas, Steel — stands at the threshold of a second large room. Through the doorway, another massive wave of Noche men is visible, flooding in from multiple entrances. Dozens of men. Too many. The squad exchanges a look.
“Officer Matt Steel: Too many. We're losing time.”
Panel 5:Steel steps forward, turning his back to the door, facing Creed directly. He reloads his shotgun with a heavy clack. His expression is steady — no fear. He meets Creed's eyes and jerks his chin toward the corridor ahead.
“Officer Matt Steel: I'll hold them here. You three keep moving. Don't make me regret this, Rivers.”
Panel 6:Close-up on Creed's face. He holds Steel's gaze for one beat — jaw tight, eyes steady. Then a single slow nod.
PAGE 4
Panel 1:Wide shot of a deeper corridor inside Club Noche. Creed, Aline Fonseca, and Officer Vargas move fast through the hallway, stepping over fallen Noche men. The corridor is darker here — purple and blue accent lighting, VIP signage on the walls.
Panel 2:At the far end of the corridor — a figure. Slik, in dark clothes, sprinting at full speed toward a door at the corridor's end. He glances back once over his shoulder — face tight, calculating — then pushes through the door.
Panel 3:Creed immediately breaks into a sprint, pulling ahead of Aline and Vargas. Then — from side hallways, armored Noche soldiers burst out in a flood of black tactical gear, opening fire. Bullets tear into the walls. All three dive for cover behind a support pillar and a door frame.
“Aline Fonseca: Creed! We'll cover you — keep going! Creed Rivers: No! I'm not leaving you here!”
Panel 4:Over-shoulder shot from behind Vargas. He grabs Creed's arm through the gunfire, turning him. His face is locked, intense, completely certain. Bullets spark off the wall inches from both men.
“Officer Vargas: I've got her back. I swear it. Go get that psycho — for all of us.”
Panel 5:Close-up on Creed's face — one second of conflict. Then his expression clears. He turns and runs.
PAGE 5
Panel 1:Creed bursts through the door Slik fled through — into an empty private room. Overturned chair. No one. He scans the room, breathing hard.
Panel 2:Close-up on Creed's face — his eyes shift from natural brown to a vivid glowing orange as his cybernetic detective-vision activates. The pupils become geometric scanning reticles.
Panel 3:POV shot from Creed's detective vision. The room is rendered in dark blue-grey tones with highlighted data overlays. A trail of faint glowing orange footprints crosses the floor — heading toward a large rug in the corner of the room. The footprints stop at the rug's edge.
Panel 4:Creed grabs the edge of the rug and yanks it back — revealing a wooden trapdoor set into the floor. He grabs the iron ring handle and pulls it open. A dark tunnel drops below.
Panel 5:Creed drops into the tunnel without hesitation — a wide shot from inside the tunnel looking up as his silhouette falls through the trapdoor opening, the yellow room light framing him from above. Below: a narrow concrete tunnel stretching into darkness.
Panel 6:Tunnel chase — wide shot from behind Creed. He sprints through the narrow concrete corridor, orange eyes cutting through the dark. Far ahead, Slik's silhouette runs. Without looking back, Slik fires his pistol blind — muzzle flashes lighting the tunnel in staccato bursts. Bullet sparks tear off the walls around Creed.
PAGE 6
Panel 1:The tunnel opens up. Wide establishing shot: an abandoned industrial area at night — cracked asphalt, rusted chain-link fencing, dead floodlights. At the far end, a massive old warehouse with corrugated metal walls. Slik sprints across the open ground and disappears through the warehouse's side entrance.
Panel 2:Creed emerges from the tunnel entrance — a ground-level hatch in the asphalt — and stands upright, scanning the industrial area. He pulls out his phone and sends his location with a few taps, eyes still fixed on the warehouse. He pockets the phone and begins moving.
Panel 3:Creed approaches the warehouse entrance carefully — then gunfire explodes from inside. Bullets tear through the corrugated metal wall and the entrance frame in bursts of sparks and torn metal. Creed dives hard behind the exterior wall, pressing his back against it. He holds his magnum blaster revolver up at chest height, breathing.
Panel 4:Silence. The gunfire stops. Creed stays pressed against the wall. He tilts his head toward the entrance and calls out, voice flat and firm.
“Creed Rivers: Slik. Come out with your hands up. Slik: You know I can't do that, Creed.”
Panel 5:Creed steps slightly away from the wall, angling toward the entrance but staying out of the direct line of fire. His expression is calm, deliberate. He speaks into the darkness.
“Creed Rivers: I'm sorry about Joker. I regret being part of that. You were right. I was manipulated. But this has to end…I know you’re not a bad guy Slik!”
Panel 6:Inside the warehouse — Slik stands behind a rusted support beam, pistol at his side. His jaw is tight. He stares toward the entrance. When he speaks, his voice is hard.
“Slik: What do you know about me? You don't know half the things I've done.”
PAGE 7
Panel 1:Outside. Creed takes a half-step toward the entrance, voice measured.
“Creed Rivers: I know you let Aline live. You went out of your way to make sure she wasn't hurt.”
Panel 2:Inside the warehouse. Slik's expression shifts — something flickers across his face. His grip on the pistol tightens.
“Slik: …that doesn’t change anything”
Panel 3:Outside. Creed's expression is steady, almost compassionate. He holds his hands slightly open at his sides — not reaching for his weapon.
“Creed Rivers: Surrender peacefully. I'll get you the help you need. You won't go down for her crimes.”
Panel 4:Inside the warehouse. Slik's face hardens completely. He shakes his head once, slow and absolute. When he speaks his voice is iron.
“Slik: despite everything…you still killed my brother. I'll never surrender to you…and I’ll never stop hunting you. ”
Panel 5:Creed exhales. A long beat. Then he straightens and his voice takes on a different tone — almost matter-of-fact. He holds up one finger.
“Creed Rivers: Fine. Same deal you gave me. Weapons down. Bare hands. One last time.”
Panel 6:Wide shot inside the warehouse. Slik stares at the entrance for a long moment. Then — he tosses his pistol aside. It skitters across the concrete. He reaches down and lays his Samurai blade on the floor. Outside, Creed holds his magnum blaster revolver by two fingers and slides it across the concrete floor into the warehouse. The metal clatters loudly. Then Creed steps fully through the entrance. He and Slik face each other across the warehouse floor — ten feet apart. Both unarmed. Both still.
PAGE 8
Panel 1:Both men charge simultaneously — a collision of bodies in the center of the warehouse floor. Creed's fist connects with Slik's jaw at the same moment Slik's elbow catches Creed's cheekbone. Both men absorb the blows without falling. They reset instantly, circling.
Panel 2:Close-up on Creed's eyes — focused, reading. He watches Slik's torso. Slik throws a right hook; Creed slips it. Slik throws a left; Creed parries. Both men are reading each other — every strike anticipated, every counter countered. The fight is a precise, controlled chess match.
Panel 3:Creed's eyes drop to Slik's right side — he watches Slik shift his weight, protecting his ribs. Creed waits. Then he feints high with his left and drives a powerful right punch directly into Slik's right ribcage. The impact is visible — Slik's body bends around the blow. He drops to one knee, right hand going to his ribs.
Panel 4:At Slik's side — a hallucination. The imaginary Momma Noche stands beside him, translucent at the edges, smiling a cold and satisfied smile. She leans slightly toward Slik.
“Momma Noche: Let the monster out.”
Panel 5:Creed hesitates — just a fraction of a second, his eyes widening slightly as he sees Slik's expression shift from pain to something else entirely. In that instant, Slik explodes upward and slams a vicious headbutt directly into Creed's face. Creed's head snaps back. Blood bursts from his nose.
Panel 6:Full-panel action beat. Creed on his knees and slik kicking him across the head.
PAGE 9
Panel 1:The imaginary Momma Noche stands in Slik's peripheral view, arms crossed, expression imperious. Slik looks down at the barely-conscious Creed on the floor.
“Momma Noche: Finish him.”
Panel 2:Slik picks up his Samurai blade from the warehouse floor and begins walking slowly toward the prone Creed. His face is blank and cold. Then — from the warehouse entrance behind him: 'Freeze!' Aline Fonseca stands in the doorway, both hands on her pistol, aimed at Slik's back.
“Aline Fonseca: Freeze!”
Panel 3:In one fluid motion, Slik pivots and hurls the Samurai blade at Aline. It spins through the air. Aline fires — her shot cracks past the blade and misses Slik
Panel 4:Lateral view. Slik reaches Aline and drives a hard punch across her jaw. She crashes down to the concrete floor.
Panel 5:The imaginary Momma Noche materializes beside Slik, pointing at Aline's downed form and then at the barely-conscious Creed across the warehouse. Her expression is hungry and cruel. Slik's face tightens — he shakes his head and speaks out loud, to empty air.
“Slik: No, Ma. We don't have to kill her too! Momma Noche: Kill the girl in front of him. True vengeance, son.”
Panel 6:Creed is on the concrete floor, barely propped on one elbow. His face is bloody, vision swimming. But his eyes are open and fixed on Slik — watching him argue with empty air. Creed's expression shifts — realization cutting through the pain. He pushes himself slowly upright, one knee at a time.
Narrator:“Creed realizes what’s happening: He's not talking to himself. He's arguing with her. About Aline.”
PAGE 10
Panel 1:Creed stands upright — bloodied, unsteady, but standing. He stares at Slik with cold, calculated eyes. When he speaks, his voice is quiet and deliberate.
“Creed Rivers: She's right, Slik. You are weak.”
Panel 2:Slik's head snaps toward Creed. His eyes go wide then narrow. Creed keeps going, stepping slightly forward, voice still low.
“Creed Rivers: Your mom told the Chief what a disappointment you are. She'd never have put you in charge of Club Noche. Slik: No — that's not true!”
Panel 3:Creed takes one more step. His voice drops even lower — the final trap delivered with absolute cold precision.
“Creed Rivers: She said she wishes you died instead of Joker. If you don’t believe it…Then why is she laughing, right behind you? Slik: NO!”
Panel 4:From Slik's perspective: he turns — and the hallucinated Momma Noche stands directly behind him, full and vivid in his fractured mind. She is smiling. Cold. Satisfied. Her voice fills his skull. Don’t have momma noche looking like a ghost. She should not be ethereal or glowing, just look normal.
“Momma Noche: It's true. I do wish you died instead of Joker. You'll never lead Club Noche.”
Panel 5:Slik screams — a raw, broken sound — and . The hallucinated Momma Noche laughs. He drives the blade forward with both hands, stabbing her through the chest. The hallucination's laughter cuts off. her form dissolving. Slik is left standing on the warehouse floor, arms extended, holding the blade — pointed at nothing. Empty air. Silence.
Panel 6:Close-up on Slik's face — his rage dissolves into something broken and hollow. His eyes drop to his hands. Tears cut through the blood and grime on his face. His voice trembles.
“Slik: I'm sorry, Ma… You made me do it again.”
Panel 7: — wide shot. Slik kneels alone in the center of the warehouse floor, arms cradling empty air, head bowed, facing away from creed. Creed is grabbing his gun from the floor.
“Slik: You did this, Creed….ill kill you!”
Narrator:“Creed uses the distraction to grab his gun.”
Panel 8:Wide zoomed out lateral view. Slik stands facing holding his samurai blade Creed stands far from each away, magnum blaster revolver raised and aimed at Slik.. Creed's arm is steady. His eyes are calm. The world goes completely still. One beat. Creed is ready to fire but hasn’t pulled the trigger yet. More of a stand off.
Narrator:“And then the world went silent…”
Panel 9:Zoomed out Wide shot lateral view. Slik runs toward creed but mid run creed shoots him in the head. With a muzzle flash on creeds gun.
Panel 10:Close-up on Creed's face — looking down. His expression is not triumph. It is exhausted, hollow, and heavy with recognition. Behind his eyes, something old and familiar.
Narrator:“On that final night of the Noche gang… I didn't see victory.”
Panel 11:Wide exterior shot. Creed and Aline Fonseca emerge from the warehouse entrance side by side. He has one arm supporting her. They cross the cracked asphalt of the industrial area and sit down together on a low concrete step outside. The city is completely still. No gunfire. No sirens. Just silence. The sky at the horizon is beginning to shift from black to deep indigo — the very first suggestion of dawn.
Narrator:“I saw a man pushed into violence by his own family. A man who'd kill for his brother. A man broken by this city — and that felt all too relatable.”
