Narrator:“Port of Los Angeles. Dawn.”

Panel 2:At the base of a ship's gangway, Master Trane — a lean, sharp-eyed 21-year-old man with short black hair — steps onto the dock. He carries a worn canvas duffel bag over one shoulder. He wears a dark navy jacket and loose black pants. His posture is calm and upright.

Narrator:“Master Trane. Born in LA. Raised in Hong Kong. Coming home.”

Panel 3:Close-up on Master Trane's face which is covered by his hat. He eyes are never seen against the morning sun, eyes scanning the familiar skyline of Los Angeles rising in the distance. A faint smile crosses his lips.

“Master Trane: Los Angeles.”

Panel 4:Wide shot of Master Trane walking away from the dock, duffel bag on his shoulder, the sprawling city ahead of him. The dock gate is behind him. The Los Angeles skyline is visible in the far distance.

“Master Trane: Long way to Arizona. Better start walking.”

PAGE 2

Panel 1:Street-level wide shot of a gritty East Los Angeles neighborhood. Graffiti covers low concrete buildings. A few cars are parked along a cracked sidewalk. Telephone wires crisscross above. The street is mostly empty in the early morning.

Narrator:“East Los Angeles.”

Panel 2:Master Trane walks along the sidewalk, duffel bag over his shoulder, moving at a steady pace. He passes a mural of a serpent painted on a warehouse wall. His eyes are forward, focused.

Panel 3:From an alley mouth, three young men in dark hoodies and bandanas watch Master Trane pass. One leans against the brick wall, arms folded. Another nudges the third with his elbow and tilts his head toward Trane. They wear matching red and black colors.

Panel 4:Over-the-shoulder shot from behind Master Trane. Ahead on the sidewalk, Jefe— a broad-shouldered young man with a shaved head and red bandana around his neck — steps out of the alley and plants himself directly in Master Trane's path. Arms out wide, blocking the way.

“Jefe: What’s up foo?”

Panel 5:Master Trane stops walking. He stands relaxed, bag still on his shoulder, hands loose at his sides. He looks at Jefe with calm, steady eyes — no aggression, no fear.

“Master Trane: How do you know my name?”

PAGE 3

Panel 1:Rojo and Hector emerge from the alley behind Master Trane, flanking him on both sides. Rojo holds a length of chain. Hector cracks his knuckles. Jefe grins wide and points at Trane's duffel bag.

“Jefe: Cuz you look like a foo, foo!”

Panel 2:Close-up on Master Trane's face. His jaw is set. His eyes move calmly from one attacker to the next, measuring them. He slowly lowers his duffel bag to the ground beside his foot.

“Master Trane: That doesn’t make any sense.”

Panel 3:Rojo swings the chain in a wide arc toward Master Trane's head. The chain slices through the air. Master Trane's eyes lock onto it.

“Rojo: We don’t make cents, we make dollars. Now give us your wallet.”

Panel 4:Master Trane drops into a low horse stance in a single explosive motion. The chain whips over his head, missing by inches. His open hands come up in a defensive wing chun guard position.

“Master Trane: My money is my money”

Panel 5:Wide panel. Hector charges from the left, fist cocked. Jefe charges from the front. Rojo re-coils the chain. Master Trane stands in the center, both hands raised, expression calm and focused.

Narrator:“He wasn’t looking for trouble, but a master is always ready”

PAGE 4

Panel 1:Master Trane pivots on his left foot and drives a straight palm strike into Hector's chin as Hector lunges in. Hector's head snaps back violently. His feet leave the ground.

Panel 2:Jefe grabs Master Trane's jacket from behind, pulling him backward. Master Trane's feet stay planted. He looks over his shoulder at Jefe with a calm expression.

“Jefe: Got you now, fool!”

Panel 3:Master Trane executes a sharp elbow strike backward into Jefe's sternum. The impact is shown with a starburst effect at the point of contact. Jefe's mouth flies open in a gasp.

Panel 6:Wide shot. All three gang members are down on the pavement. Hector is flat on his back. Rojo sits dazed with his hands behind him on the ground. Jefe is doubled over on his knees, clutching his chest. Master Trane stands in the center, hands at his sides, breathing evenly.

Narrator:“Ten seconds. All three down.”

PAGE 5

Panel 1:Close-up on Jefe's face, looking up from the ground. His lip is split. His eyes are wide with shock. Sweat on his brow. He stares up at Master Trane.

“Jefe: What... what ARE you, man?”

Panel 2:Master Trane looks down at Jefe. His expression is not angry — it is composed and serious. He speaks plainly.

“Master Trane: Someone who didn't want trouble. Go home.”

Panel 3:Master Trane crouches and picks up his duffel bag from the sidewalk. He slings it back over his shoulder. His posture is relaxed. The three gang members are visible in the background, still on the ground.

Panel 4:Wide shot from behind Master Trane as he walks away down the empty street. The three gang members are small in the background, still on the ground. The city stretches ahead of him. A highway overpass is visible in the distance.

Panel 4:Medium close-up on Master Trane's face as he looks at the photograph. His expression is focused and determined. He folds the photo carefully and tucks it back into his jacket pocket.

“Master Trane: Almost there, Sifu.”

Panel 5:Wide shot from behind and above. Master Trane is a lone figure on the overpass walkway, the massive sprawl of Los Angeles around him, the highway stretching east into the distance beneath him. He is small against the city.

Narrator:“One city behind him. One desert ahead.”

PAGE 7

Panel 1:The overcast breaks. Sunlight pours through a gap in the clouds over the eastern horizon. Master Trane walks on a road at the edge of the city, where concrete gives way to dry scrubland. A highway sign reads 'ARIZONA — 280 MILES'.

Narrator:“The city ends. The desert begins.”

Panel 2:Master Trane stops and faces the highway sign. He reads it, then nods once. His bag is firm on his shoulder. The open road stretches behind the sign into dry hills.

“Master Trane: Two hundred eighty miles. I've walked farther.”

Panel 3:Low angle shot looking up at Master Trane from the road surface. He stands tall against the brightening sky, duffel bag over his shoulder. The sun is behind him, creating a strong rim-light silhouette effect.

PAGE 8

Panel 1:Extreme wide shot — almost aerial. A long straight desert highway cuts through tan scrubland stretching to distant mountains. A single tiny figure — Master Trane — walks along the shoulder of the road heading east. The sky is wide and blue above him.

Narrator:“The road to Arizona. His next chapter.”

Panel 2:Medium shot of Master Trane walking along the highway shoulder, the desert on both sides. He looks straight ahead. His expression is calm and certain. A hawk circles in the blue sky behind him.

Panel 3:Close-up on Master Trane's feet hitting the pavement — steady, rhythmic steps. The road stretches ahead. His shadow is short under the climbing sun.

Panel 4:Final panel. Wide shot from the front, low angle. Master Trane walks directly toward the camera on the desert highway. The mountains of Arizona are visible as a blue ridge on the far horizon behind him. He is calm, strong, and moving forward. The sun is full and bright above.

Narrator:“Master Trane. Not finished. Just starting.”
