“Lira: Warning. The Nightroot's influence grows stronger.”
Panel 3: MEDIUM SHOT. Captain Thorn Vale pushes past Kai, shoving him slightly.
“Captain Thorn Vale: Enough with the ancient graffiti, Arden. Let's find this Stone of Infinity.”
Panel 4: WIDE SHOT. The jungle floor ahead becomes noticeably darker. The trees are twisted and unnatural, their leaves a sickly grey.

“Crew Member 2: Kill me... please... it's taking over...”
Panel 3: MEDIUM SHOT. Lira, now a golden panther, leaps onto the infected crew member, biting the vines with her glowing teeth.
“Lira: (Snarling) This accursed corruption!”
Panel 4: CLOSE UP. Lira's bite burns the vines, causing them to recoil slightly. But the corruption continues to spread.

“Lira: Go, Kai! The Stone! It is your only hope!”

Panel 3: FULL PAGE. Kai stands empowered, energy radiating from him. The Nightroot tendril recoils. In front of Kai a shadowy form takes shape – the core of the Nightroot.
“Nightroot: You cannot comprehend the power you now wield, boy. It will consume you.”
