Elara

supporting

Elara is a 16-year-old girl with a strong connection to dragons, serving as a young dragon trainer. She has long, flowing auburn hair, often tied back with a simple leather cord to keep it out of her face. Her eyes are a bright, determined green. She has a fair skin tone with a smattering of freckles across her nose and cheeks. She's of average build, not overly muscular but clearly fit from her training. She wears practical, slightly worn clothing: a loose-fitting tunic in earthy tones, brown leggings, and simple leather boots suitable for running and working outdoors. She wears a simple, braided leather bracelet on her left wrist. Her expression is usually earnest and hopeful, but can quickly shift to determination or frustration when dealing with Zephyr.

Panel 1: Elara, a young woman around 16, stands in a grassy training field. She's wearing simple, practical clothing. She's gesturing towards a small, reluctant-looking dragon, about the size of a pony. It's emerald green and avoids her gaze.

Come on, Zephyr! Just a little closer. I know you can understand me.

Panel 2: Close-up on Zephyr, the young dragon. Its eyes are narrowed, and it puffs a small cloud of smoke from its nostrils.

(Thought bubble) I don't like this. She's always so…loud.

Panel 3: Elara sighs, her shoulders slumping slightly. She looks defeated but determined.

It's just…difficult. Connecting isn't always easy.

Panel 4: A wider shot of the field. In the distance, obscured by shadows, a cloaked figure watches from atop a rocky outcropping. Only their eyes are visible.

Panel 1: Close-up on Elara's face. She closes her eyes, takes a deep breath, and focuses. Her brow furrows with concentration.

(Whispering) I have to try harder. I can feel…something.

Panel 2: Zephyr rears back, startled. Its eyes widen, and it emits a small, surprised chirp.

(Thought bubble) What…what is that? A voice…clearer than ever before.

Panel 3: Elara's eyes snap open. They glow with a faint, ethereal light. She looks directly at Zephyr, a look of understanding and surprise on her face.

I…I understand you. Really understand.

Panel 4: The cloaked figure's eyes narrow. A sinister smile creeps across their face, barely visible in the shadows.

(Whispering) So…the last one awakens. Perfect.

Page 3

Panel 1: Elara and Zephyr are now standing close together, nose to nose. A visible, shimmering energy connects them.

It's…like I can feel your thoughts, your fears, your hopes…

Panel 2: Zephyr nuzzles Elara affectionately. Its eyes are soft and trusting.

(Thought bubble) You…you understand. Finally.

Panel 3: Close-up on Elara's face. She looks determined and slightly scared. A realization dawns on her.

This…this isn't just a stronger connection. It's…something more. Something…ancient.

Panel 4: The cloaked figure steps out of the shadows, revealing a glimpse of their face – scarred and cruel. They hold a dark, ornate dagger.

Soon, that connection will be mine to control.

Page 4

Panel 1: Elara stumbles back, clutching her head. She's experiencing a wave of pain and disorientation.

What…what's happening? I feel…a darkness…

Panel 2: Zephyr growls protectively, standing in front of Elara, facing the direction of the cloaked figure. Its eyes glow brighter.

(Thought bubble) Danger…I feel it too.

Panel 3: The cloaked figure leaps from the outcropping, drawing the dark dagger. They are now closer, their face more clearly visible – twisted with malice.

The end of dragons…and their keepers…is at hand!

Panel 4: Elara, despite her pain, stands tall, her eyes blazing with newfound power. She faces the attacker, ready to defend Zephyr and the dragon bond.

I won't let you!
