Characters

Professor Pip

supporting

Professor Pip is an eccentric, energetic male human with wild, unkempt gray hair that sticks out in all directions, thick black-rimmed glasses perched on his nose, and bright, eager blue eyes. His skin is fair. He wears a slightly stained, oversized white lab coat over a rumpled tweed vest and a colorful bow tie, with khaki pants and scuffed brown shoes. He often carries a magnifying glass and has a perpetually enthusiastic, sometimes maniacal grin, perfect for a cartoon art style.

Assistant Dot

supporting

Assistant Dot is a curious and often bewildered young adult female human. She has sleek, dark brown hair styled in a neat bob, large, expressive brown eyes, and a fair complexion with a slight blush when overwhelmed. She wears a practical but stylish light blue lab coat over a simple white t-shirt and dark trousers, with comfortable sneakers. She often has a slightly stressed or questioning expression, making her visually distinct in a cartoon art style.

Panel 1: Professor Pip, energetic, stands before a blackboard covered in complex symbols, addressing a curious Assistant Dot.

Today, Dot, we tackle the truly WEIRD!

Panel 2: Pip gestures excitedly at a simple drawing of two glowing dots on the blackboard, connected by a shimmering line.

Behold: two tiny particles!

Panel 3: Dot stares at the drawing with a bewildered expression, a question mark floating above her head.

Uh... are they holding hands?

Page 2

Panel 1: Pip claps his hands together, then pulls them apart, showing two identical 'baby' particles floating away from each other.

They're BORN together, like cosmic twins!

Panel 2: The two particles are now tiny specs, one at the edge of a galaxy, the other near a distant alien planet.

Then they ZOOM apart, light-years away!

Panel 3: Dot looks overwhelmed, wiping sweat from her brow as Pip grins maniacally.

That's... quite the commute.

Page 3

Panel 1: Pip holds a magnifying glass over one particle, which instantly glows blue, while the distant, unseen twin particle simultaneously glows blue.

Observe one, and the other INSTANTLY changes!

Panel 2: Dot looks utterly flabbergasted, eyes wide, with an exclamation mark above her head.

INSTANTLY?! How?!

Panel 3: Pip winks and pulls out two identical, vibrantly patterned socks from behind his back, presenting them with a flourish.

Time for the 'SPOOKY SOCKS' metaphor!

Page 4

Panel 1: Pip is on one side of a large chasm, holding one sock, while Dot stands on the other side, holding the identical second sock.

These socks are entangled!

Panel 2: Pip dramatically flips his sock inside out, revealing a different color; Dot's sock, far away, instantly flips inside out to match.

Flip mine... and yours flips too!

Panel 3: Pip beams, arms spread wide, as Dot clutches her sock, a lightbulb appearing above her head, finally understanding.

That, Dot, is Quantum Entanglement!
