METRO MID NIGHT ATTACK

Metro Mid Night Attack

Standalone issue

Create a complete 6-page children's comic story set in Lahore, Pakistan. After midnight, Lahore Metro Station mysteriously turns into a ghost station. Two children, Ayaan and Zara, can see ghosts while ordinary people cannot. The children meet funny, harmless ghosts in the station and gradually become friends with them. The ghosts invite the children to travel to the Ghost World, a vibrant supernatural city, and the children help solve a problem there before returning safely before dawn. Tone: spooky but wholesome, funny, adventurous, and suitable for children. The horror should be playful rather than disturbing: expressive funny ghosts, exaggerated dark makeup, glowing eyes, silly reactions, colorful fog, floating signs, and friendly supernatural creatures. No graphic violence, gore, or truly frightening imagery. Include authentic Lahore Metro atmosphere and recognizable local details such as Urdu and English station signs, tiled platforms, turnstiles, metro maps, security booths, and a late-night Lahore city backdrop. Keep the children brave, curious, and kind. Give the ghosts distinct comedic personalities, especially a nervous ghost station master and a mischievous ghost child. End with friendship and a small humorous cliffhanger when a tiny ghost secretly follows the children home in a schoolbag. Visual direction: vibrant cinematic 3D animated family-film design with rich colors, dramatic midnight lighting, playful horror-world shapes, colorful supernatural effects, and expressive character acting. Use dark theatrical makeup on the ghosts while keeping all faces funny and child-friendly. Write a clear, complete comic script with visual descriptions, narration, and dialogue in English.

PAGE 1

Panel 1:Wide establishing shot of Lahore city at night. Minarets and rooftops are silhouetted against a deep indigo sky with a massive full moon. In the foreground, the entrance to a Lahore Metro station glows with fluorescent light. A digital clock on the station exterior reads 12:01 AM. The streets are completely empty.

Narrator:Lahore. 12:01 AM. The city holds its breath.

Panel 2:Ayaan, a Pakistani boy of about 10 wearing a blue school uniform with a backpack, and Zara, a Pakistani girl of about 9 in a yellow kurta and red dupatta with a pink schoolbag, crouch behind a concrete pillar near the station entrance. Both peer around the pillar with wide, excited eyes. Ayaan points toward the turnstiles inside.

Ayaan: The last train was hours ago. The station should be empty! Zara: Then why are all the lights still on?

Panel 3:Inside the Metro station, the tiled platform transforms before our eyes. Normal white tiles now pulse with a soft teal and purple glow. Urdu and English station signs float in the air, spinning slowly. Colorful fog in shades of green and violet rolls across the platform floor. The turnstiles glow like neon rings.

Narrator:At the stroke of midnight, Lahore Metro becomes something else entirely.

Panel 4:Ayaan and Zara step through the turnstiles onto the platform. Their mouths drop open. All around them, semi-transparent ghost figures drift past — a ghost commuter reading a floating newspaper, a ghost auntie carrying ghost shopping bags, a ghost security guard snoozing in his booth. None of the ghosts notice the children yet. The children stare in total amazement.

Zara: Ayaan... are those... GHOSTS? Ayaan: Either that, or I really need more sleep.

Panel 5:Close-up on Ayaan and Zara's faces side by side. Their eyes glow with a faint golden shimmer — a sign of their special ability. Both children wear enormous grins of pure wonder and excitement. Zara reaches out and her hand passes right through a drifting ghost newspaper without the ghost noticing.

Ayaan: They can't see us. But we can see them! Zara: We're the only ones who can!

PAGE 2

Panel 1:On the platform, a large ghost in a tattered Metro station master uniform stands at a podium. This is Baba Dhuan — a round, flustered ghost with an enormous drooping mustache, exaggerated dark rings under bulging eyes, a tilted conductor's cap, and a clipboard that keeps floating away from his hands. He chases the clipboard in a panic.

Baba Dhuan: My clipboard! Come back! I have a SCHEDULE to maintain!

Panel 2:A tiny ghost child, Chhotu, floats near the ceiling. He has spiky translucent hair, a mischievous grin with a gap-toothed smile, theatrical dark eye makeup, and a small Metro uniform three sizes too big. He is the one magically pushing Baba Dhuan's clipboard away with one finger, giggling silently.

Chhotu: Hee hee hee!

Panel 3:Zara bursts out laughing at the scene. Ayaan slaps a hand over her mouth but it's too late. Every ghost on the platform freezes and turns to stare at the two children. Baba Dhuan's mustache stands straight up in shock. The clipboard falls to the floor with a clang. Chhotu drops from the ceiling and lands on Baba Dhuan's head.

Zara: HAHAHA — sorry, sorry! Baba Dhuan: LIVING CHILDREN?! ON MY PLATFORM?!

Panel 4:Comic chaos panel. Ghost commuters flee in all directions — one runs through a wall, another's head pops off and rolls away, a ghost auntie faints dramatically. Baba Dhuan hides behind his podium with only his enormous mustache sticking out. Chhotu, however, floats right up to Ayaan's face and pokes his cheek with one translucent finger, studying him with intense curiosity.

Chhotu: You can actually SEE us? For real? Ayaan: Yes! And you are poking my face.

Panel 5:Zara steps forward calmly and holds out her hand palm up toward Baba Dhuan who still hides behind his podium. Her expression is warm and kind. Slowly, Baba Dhuan peeks out from behind the podium, one giant eye visible, mustache trembling.

Zara: We're not here to scare anyone. We just want to be friends. Baba Dhuan: ...Friends? With LIVING children?

Panel 1:A new scene. Baba Dhuan, now composed and official-looking, leads Ayaan, Zara, and Chhotu down the platform to a broken ticket machine. The machine is a magnificent ghost-world device covered in glowing Urdu script, spinning dials, and floating coin slots. It sparks and sputters, emitting sad little puffs of purple smoke. A handwritten sign in Urdu and English reads: OUT OF ORDER.

Narrator:Baba Dhuan had a problem. A very big, very broken problem.

Panel 2:Close-up on the ticket machine. Its face is almost human — two round dial-eyes looking sad, a slot-mouth drooping downward. Chhotu puts a sympathetic arm around it. A printed Metro map floats behind it, showing a dotted line to a place labeled GHOST WORLD in English and Urdu.

Baba Dhuan: Our ghost train runs every night. But without the ticket machine, it cannot open the portal to Ghost World! Chhotu: Everyone is stuck HERE!

Panel 3:Ayaan kneels in front of the broken ticket machine, backpack open, rummaging inside. He pulls out a pencil, a rubber band, a granola bar wrapper, and a small screwdriver his father put in his bag. His expression is focused and determined. Zara crouches beside him, studying a panel on the machine's side.

Ayaan: My baba always says: a good engineer fixes things with what he has. Zara: There is a loose gear behind this panel. I can see it!

Panel 4:Baba Dhuan and Chhotu exchange a glance. Baba Dhuan's enormous mustache twitches with hope. Chhotu gives an enthusiastic thumbs up with both translucent hands, his gap-toothed grin stretching wide.

Baba Dhuan: You truly wish to help us? Ayaan: We're going to the Ghost World tonight, Baba Dhuan!

PAGE 4

Panel 1:Wide shot. The group — Ayaan, Zara, Baba Dhuan, and Chhotu — walks along a long midnight platform that stretches impossibly far. The platform is wild and supernatural: Metro signs float and spin, some showing silly made-up station names in Urdu and English like SHADOW STOP and CLOUD JUNCTION. Colorful fog in every shade rolls along the floor. Ghost commuters line the platform walls, cheering the group on.

Narrator:The path to the Ghost World's engine room was not exactly straightforward.

Panel 2:A cluster of dancing shadows blocks the path. The shadows are shaped like enormous cats and have glowing yellow eyes. They sway and shimmy rhythmically. Chhotu charges straight at them, arms wide. Zara laughs and follows, arms out, mimicking the shadows' silly dance moves. The shadows, delighted, part to let them through.

Chhotu: Shadow cats! You have to dance past them — no other way! Zara: This is the BEST shortcut ever!

Panel 3:Ayaan and Baba Dhuan stand at a ghostly snack stall. The stall is run by a plump ghost vendor with a magnificent curly mustache, wearing a chef's hat. He offers steaming bowls of what appears to be glowing green biryani and purple chai. Baba Dhuan's eyes go wide with temptation. Ayaan grabs Baba Dhuan's sleeve and pulls him away before he stops.

Baba Dhuan: Oh! Ghost biryani! I haven't eaten in forty years... Ayaan: Focus, Baba Dhuan. Ghost World first, biryani LATER!

Panel 4:The group reunites at the end of the platform where a glowing ghost train waits. It is a magnificent, luminous Metro train covered in swirling supernatural patterns. The train's front has a large round face with sleepy eyes. Chhotu is already hanging off the front of the train, waving everyone aboard. The doors slide open with a sound effect of ghostly chimes.

Chhotu: All aboard the Ghost Express! Next stop — Ghost World!

PAGE 5

Panel 1:The ghost train bursts through a shimmering portal at the end of the platform and emerges above the clouds. Full two-page spread feel compressed into one wide panel: Ghost World stretches before them — a vibrant impossible city floating among clouds, with glowing towers shaped like Metro stations, bridges made of light, ghost citizens going about their business, lanterns everywhere, and a sky full of stars and aurora-like ribbons of color. Ayaan and Zara press their faces against the train window, mouths open.

Zara: It's BEAUTIFUL! Ayaan: Lahore has nothing like this. Well... almost nothing.

Panel 2:The group stands before the Ghost World's central ticket machine — a towering ornate device ten times bigger than the station one, covered in glowing Urdu calligraphy and spinning brass gears. It is clearly broken: one large gear is jammed sideways, purple sparks shooting from it. A crowd of ghost citizens watches anxiously from behind a rope barrier.

Baba Dhuan: The main gear is jammed. Without it, no one can travel between worlds!

Panel 3:Ayaan examines the jammed gear up close, using his small screwdriver. Zara loops her red dupatta through a ring on the gear as a makeshift rope-handle. Chhotu floats above, using his ghostly weight to press down on one side. Baba Dhuan counts down with his clipboard, mustache quivering with concentration.

Baba Dhuan: On three! One... two... Chhotu: I am pressing! I am pressing!

Panel 4:The gear CLUNKS free with an explosion of golden sparks and a burst of colorful confetti-like light. The entire ticket machine roars to life, its dials spinning happily, its face-like display showing a huge glowing smile. The crowd of ghost citizens erupts in wild cheering, hats flying into the air. Baba Dhuan's mustache stands straight up from the force of the blast, perfectly horizontal.

Zara: WE DID IT! Baba Dhuan: My mustache! ...But also, HOORAY!

PAGE 6

Panel 1:A magnificent friendship party in Ghost World. Long floating tables are covered in glowing ghost food. Ghost citizens in colorful outfits dance. Chhotu sits on Ayaan's shoulder, sharing a glowing lollipop. Zara wears a crown of ghost-light flowers placed there by a tiny ghost girl. Baba Dhuan sits at the head of the table, mustache now decorated with small lanterns, looking genuinely happy for the first time.

Baba Dhuan: In forty years, no living child has ever helped us. You two are remarkable.

Panel 2:The ghost train reappears, doors open, ready for the return journey. The sky outside Ghost World is beginning to lighten at the very edge — a thin line of pale gold on the horizon. Baba Dhuan checks a floating pocket watch with alarm. He waves the children urgently toward the train.

Baba Dhuan: Dawn approaches! You must return NOW or you stay as ghosts forever! Ayaan: WHAT?! Run, Zara!

Panel 3:Back at Lahore Metro Station platform. The ghost train has returned. Dawn light filters through the station windows — pale gold and pink. The ghosts are fading, becoming more transparent in the growing light. Ayaan and Zara stand at the turnstiles, waving. Baba Dhuan waves back with his clipboard. Chhotu waves both hands and pulls a sad face, lower lip trembling.

Zara: Goodbye, Baba Dhuan! Goodbye, Chhotu! Chhotu: Come back tomorrow night! PLEASE!

Panel 4:Outside the Metro station. Ayaan and Zara walk home along a Lahore street in the early morning light. The city is waking up — a chai vendor is setting up his stall, pigeons scatter. Both children look exhausted but beaming. Zara's pink schoolbag hangs on her back. From a tiny gap in the schoolbag zipper, two small glowing green eyes peek out, and a tiny translucent hand gives a secret thumbs up to the reader.

Ayaan: Same time tomorrow? Zara: Obviously. Though next time I'm bringing a proper toolkit.

Narrator:And somewhere in Zara's schoolbag... a tiny stowaway smiled all the way home.
