A hero discovers their nemesis is actually their alternate-universe counterpart. To stop a dimensional collapse, they must work together despite being mirror opposites.
A hero, known for their radiant energy blasts, confronts their nemesis, whose powers are based on absorbing light. During the fight, a surge of energy reveals that they are alternate-universe counterparts. A dimensional tear opens, forcing them to reluctantly collaborate to prevent a catastrophic collapse.

NEMESIS, known as Shadow Weaver, is the HERO's dark counterpart and primary antagonist. He is a young adult male with a similar build and facial features to HERO, suggesting a connection between them. He has long, dark black hair that is often unkempt and wild. His eyes are a menacing red. His skin is pale and gaunt. He wears a tattered, black suit with shadowy tendrils constantly emanating from it. Cracks of light appear on his skin as he absorbs energy. His suit is designed to absorb light, turning it into raw power.

HERO is the city's protector, a beacon of hope against the encroaching darkness. He is a young adult male with a muscular build. He has short, spiky blonde hair and piercing blue eyes that glow with an inner light when he uses his powers. His skin is fair. He wears a sleek, form-fitting suit of advanced technology, primarily white and gold, with glowing energy conduits running across its surface. A stylized symbol resembling a sunburst is emblazoned on his chest. He projects beams of golden light from his hands.

“HERO: You can't win, Shadow Weaver! This city won't fall to darkness!”
Panel 2: Close-up on Shadow Weaver's face, distorted in pain as he absorbs the energy. Cracks of light appear on his skin.
“NEMESIS: You… underestimate… my resolve.”
Panel 3: Hero fires a massive blast of energy. Shadow Weaver is overwhelmed and screams. The energy overload causes a ripple in the air between them.
“HERO: This ends now!”
