Mirror Force
A hero discovers their nemesis is actually their alternate-universe counterpart. To stop a dimensional collapse, they must work together despite being mirror opposites.
A hero, known for their radiant energy blasts, confronts their nemesis, whose powers are based on absorbing light. During the fight, a surge of energy reveals that they are alternate-universe counterparts. A dimensional tear opens, forcing them to reluctantly collaborate to prevent a catastrophic collapse.

“NEMESIS: You… underestimate… my resolve.”
Panel 3:Hero fires a massive blast of energy. Shadow Weaver is overwhelmed and screams. The energy overload causes a ripple in the air between them.
“HERO: This ends now!”

Panel 2:Hero and Shadow Weaver stare at each other, shocked. They both see a mirror image of themselves within the tear, but slightly different.
“HERO: What… what is that?”
Panel 3:Close-up on Hero's face, now partially overlaid with the reflection of Shadow Weaver from the tear. The same happens with Shadow Weaver, overlaid with the reflection of Hero.

“NEMESIS: It seems we have a common problem now.”
