A shy librarian, Eleanor Vance, discovers she has the power of invisibility after a strange electrical surge at the library. Initially using her newfound ability for minor pranks, she witnesses a mugging and intervenes, becoming an anonymous protector. However, a new villain, known as "Silas", begins targeting people connected to Eleanor, starting with her best friend, David.
