“Ms. Judy: ...and so, the early colonists faced many challenges in establishing a new life in America. Can anyone tell me what some of those challenges were?”

Panel 3: Ms. Judy sighs, looking slightly exasperated. Her gaze falls on an antique chalkboard at the back of the room.
“Ms. Judy: (to herself) Oh dear, they're not engaged at all. Time for Plan B...”

Panel 1: Ms. Judy dramatically approaches the chalkboard, a determined look on her face.
“Ms. Judy: Alright class, let's try a more... immersive approach to learning about the Pilgrims!”
Panel 2: Ms. Judy touches the chalkboard. The blue glow intensifies, and the classroom begins to dissolve into a swirling vortex of colors and sounds.
Panel 3: Close-up of a student screaming in terror as the classroom disappears.
“Student: Aaaah!”
Panel 4: Another student clutches their head, looking dizzy and disoriented.
“Student: What's happening?!”

Panel 1: The students are crammed into the dark, damp hull of a ship. It's crowded and smelly.
Panel 2: Pilgrims surround them, looking equally miserable. Some are seasick.
Panel 3: Ms. Judy, now dressed in period clothing, speaks to the students in a low voice. She looks slightly older.
“Ms. Judy: Welcome to 1620. We're aboard the Mayflower. Try to blend in. This is real.”

“Student 1: This tastes like cardboard!”

“Pilgrim 1: The food is running low. And the storms... I fear we won't make it.”
Panel 4: A student complains loudly, attracting glares from the Pilgrims.
“Student 2: This is awful! I want to go home!”

Panel 1: A violent storm rocks the Mayflower. Students are thrown around, screaming.
“Student 3: What was that?!”

“Ms. Judy: Everyone, hold on! These storms are common. The Pilgrims are strong and have faith.”

“Student 2: Thank you for everything! I'll never forget this.”
