Elias, an aging lighthouse keeper, tends his storm-battered tower on a wild coastal cliff. When a ship's distress signal cuts through the howling gale, he pushes his aging body to keep the great lamp burning through the night, honoring a promise he made to a lost sailor decades ago. As the storm reaches its peak, Elias climbs the lantern room and manually turns the lamp by hand when the mechanism fails. At dawn, the ship emerges safely from the fog, and Elias watches from the gallery railing, his vigil complete. Made by Sanjoy Ghosh.
